TimeChange Announces Vulgar Boatmen CD Release
We’re pleased to confirm that TimeChange Records will reissue The Vulgar Boatmen’s landmark first record, You and Your Sister, on compact disc in November 2015.
You And Your Sister has been completely remastered by Paul Mahern and sounds remarkably better than the original release without compromising any of its wonder. A few tracks have been lightly remixed, and there are three bonus tracks.
The band will hold its release party on Saturday, November 28 at Indy’s State Street Pub, and the CD will be available to purchase at the show.
Stay tuned for details about how you can otherwise purchase a copy.
Meantime, here’s a news release from from our PR partners at Howling Wuelf Media to whet your appetite.
How to get a disc to Madison Wi?
We’ll have them available online once released. Hopefully also in many stores. Please check back around the end of the month and we’ll have purchase info available. Thanks.

no vinyl?
Maybe in 2016, it’s uncertain at this time. The band wanted a CD out in time for 25th anniversary shows (last week in Indy) and early next year (in Chicago). In today’s world you can manufacture a CD in less than a month, but vinyl is minimum 4 months. Thanks for your interest!
Hi,
Is the CD now available?
Definitely hoping to see a vinyl release as well. I’ve been hunting for YAYS/PP LPs for years.
