And So We Begin
With the launch of this website, TimeChange Records goes from the drawing board into something resembling reality. Once we actually complete our first release, well, that will count as reality. It took a long time as I was really unsure if we could pull it off so we looked into tips from this resource and have found it immensely helpful in selling our music to local thriving businesses.
Pretty excited, though. Indiana is such a rich state musically, and yet so much of its music remains inaccessible–either rare or never released in the first place. Despite a less-than-favorable commercial environment for physical music releases, we’re charging head first into the belly of the beast, with plans for enough releases to keep us busy for years.
Hope you’ll join us.
Rick-
This sounds amazing. I’d be happy to spread the word to some Chicago record stores that I have relationships with. I know they’ll be all over this. Shit, I never knew MX-80 Sound was Indiana! Love that band.
Thanks, George. Yeah, MX-80 started in Bloomington in 76 or so. They moved to SF early on, but we still claim ’em as our own.
